About me

Hi, I’m Tanzila, a mum and the creator of Little Lessons.

I started writing children’s books from the little things I noticed in my own home: everyday moments, conversations and challenges that come with raising a young child. What began as a few simple ideas slowly became Little Lessons, a series designed to help children understand everyday experiences, talk about their feelings and build positive habits.

I’m not someone who always dreamed of becoming a children’s author. It started very naturally, from wanting to make something meaningful I could use with my own child. Along the way I realised these little ideas could be helpful for other families too.

Some of the most important lessons happen in very ordinary moments: at bedtime, around the dinner table, on the way to school. That’s what I hope to make with Little Lessons: simple, thoughtful books that children enjoy, and that give parents an easy way to start those conversations.

Thank you for being here, and for being part of this little journey. ❤️
